How many calories do you burn in one session of yoga

It depends on how much you weigh and the length and difficulty of the class. Below is a general estimate of how many calories you can burn during a 45 and 60-minute yoga class.
1. Vinyasa – 594 calories burned
2. Bikram – 477 calories burned
3. Ashtanga – 351 calories burned
4. Hatha Yoga – 189 calories burned
I was really surprised to discover that Vinyasa yoga burns the most calories. I supposed it would have been Bikram as you sweat a lot in hot yoga. Because yoga makes me stronger, flexible and much calmer, I really do not care about how many calories do I burn during a yoga session, but out of curiosity I visited the calorie department.
